Happy April Fool’s Day, employees all over the world. No matter what pranks you may otherwise be at the receiving end of, the real joke today is that you’re stuck on the grind just so you’re able to afford the bills this month! 

Working life isn’t the most terrible thing in the world, but there are a lot of ways that it could be better. Nothing bad would collapse if many of us worked fewer hours, or didn’t have to navigate toxic office politics. The annoying thing is how often such simple requests can seem like a pipe dream. 

These complaints aren’t all bad, though, because they give rise to the wonderful world of work memes. Our office struggles great and small are easily made humorous with this handy outlet. They might not change things, but they give us new and amusing ways to pinpoint everything that we don’t like.
