‘What if there was a Jack Black shaped continent in the Pacific?’: The funniest Reddit posts of the week (April 5, 2024)

Reddit is the lifeline on the internet that not everybody wants, but all of us need. It can answer all our niche and specific questions in a way search engines just don’t seem to want to anymore, and in the same breath put out high-quality sh*tposts to amuse us as well. It’s also one of the best and most respected platforms for telling stories, and we know that people love nothing more than a possible tall tale. It’s got it all.

As a result, we believe this is worth celebrating with a selection of posts that deserve a little love and might otherwise slip through the cracks. Just like many other types of social media, we can see the variety of the human experience on the front page of the internet. It can be a wild ride, but we’re certainly glad to be on it. Most of the time, anyway.
